Project Overview
Implemented Dynamics 365 Finance module for JAKON’s service business, focusing on financial process improvement, reporting accuracy, transaction management, and operational efficiency.
The objective of JAKON was to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance to streamline and optimize financial operations within a service-based business environment. The goal was to establish standardized financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, enhance transaction visibility, and provide reliable financial insights to support better business decisions.
Working closely with JAKON’s business and finance teams, I supported the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance to optimize financial operations within a service-based environment. The project required a structured approach to system configuration, ensuring every aspect of the solution from financial setup and transaction processes to reporting requirements was aligned with business needs. My responsibilities included business process analysis, ERP configuration, testing coordination, and user support to ensure successful adoption. Collaborating with key stakeholders, we focused on establishing standardized financial workflows, improving transaction visibility, and enhancing reporting accuracy. The result was an integrated finance solution that supported more efficient operations and better financial decision making.

The main challenge of implementing Dynamics 365 Finance at JAKON was managing organizational change and user adoption. Some users were familiar with the previous ACES system and needed support to adapt to the new ERP platform. Through communication, training, and stakeholder collaboration, the transition was successfully managed.
I began with a detailed analysis of JAKON’s financial processes, existing ACES system, and user requirements to understand operational needs and improvement opportunities. This assessment guided the Dynamics 365 Finance configuration, ensuring the solution aligned with business processes and financial objectives. Collaboration with finance teams and key stakeholders helped refine the setup and support a smoother transition. Next, I focused on configuring financial workflows, transaction processes, reporting structures, and user support activities. Through testing, training, and continuous feedback, the implementation delivered a more integrated and efficient finance platform that improved transparency and financial management.
Process
My implementation approach was a careful balance of business analysis, technical configuration, and user adoption strategies. Each stage was systematically planned and executed to ensure Dynamics 365 Finance delivered the expected business value and operational improvements.
The process began with understanding JAKON’s financial workflows, user requirements, and existing ACES system to identify improvement opportunities. This was followed by Dynamics 365 Finance configuration, process validation, and user acceptance testing, incorporating stakeholder feedback to refine the solution. Throughout the project, continuous communication with finance teams and key users was essential. This collaborative approach ensured the final implementation aligned with business needs, improved user adoption, and delivered a more efficient and standardized financial management platform.
JAKON successfully implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance to enhance financial management and streamline service-based business processes. Every configuration element was designed to improve transaction visibility, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency, creating a more integrated and reliable finance platform.
