Project Overview
The project began with understanding Jakarta OSES Energy’s financial processes and multi-currency transaction requirements. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations was configured to handle international transactions, currency exchange rates, financial consolidation, and accurate reporting, ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in financial operations.
The objective was to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to streamline Jakarta OSES Energy’s financial operations, with a focus on managing multi-currency transactions, improving reporting accuracy, and enhancing operational efficiency.
This project required a structured approach to configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, ensuring each component from financial setup and currency management to transaction processes was aligned with Jakarta OSES Energy’s operational requirements. My responsibilities included analyzing business processes, configuring ERP functionalities, supporting testing, and ensuring accurate multi-currency transaction handling. Working closely with finance and business stakeholders, we focused on delivering a reliable ERP solution that improved financial visibility, standardized processes, and enhanced reporting accuracy. The result was an integrated platform capable of supporting complex financial operations and business growth.
Approach
The challenge of implementing Dynamics 365 at Jakarta OSES Energy required balancing business requirements with ERP best practices, especially in managing complex multi-currency transactions. My approach combined business process analysis, system configuration, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver an accurate, scalable, and efficient financial solution.
I started with a detailed analysis of Jakarta OSES Energy’s business processes, financial requirements, and multi-currency transaction challenges. This assessment guided the design and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, ensuring the solution aligned with operational needs and ERP best practices. Collaboration with finance and business stakeholders helped refine the setup and ensure accurate process flows. Next, I focused on configuring financial functionalities, currency management, transaction processes, testing, and user validation. Through careful attention to system setup and business requirements, the implementation delivered a reliable ERP platform that improved financial accuracy, reporting visibility, and operational efficiency.
Process
The implementation at Jakarta OSES Energy focused on configuring Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to support multi-currency transactions and financial processes. The project included requirement analysis, system configuration, testing, and user validation to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
The process began with analyzing JOE’s business processes, particularly the management of CSR fund utilization and financial control requirements. The Dynamics 365 solution was configured to improve transaction visibility, strengthen approval workflows, and ensure proper tracking of fund usage. Throughout the implementation, continuous collaboration with finance and business teams was essential. This structured approach helped minimize process gaps, improve transparency, and establish stronger controls to prevent potential misuse while ensuring accurate and accountable financial reporting.

"My implementation philosophy for Jakarta OSES Energy was centered on creating a reliable and transparent ERP solution that aligned business processes with operational needs. Each configuration element was designed to improve accuracy, strengthen financial control, and support efficient decision-making."
